Explore what a referee does
Start with the role overview and the beginner guide. Use them to identify the responsibilities you want to discuss with a trainer.
Study positioning visually
Choose a reviewed positioning lesson when available. Read the direct explanation, pause the court diagram, and compare each step with its caption. Bring questions about the situation to your trainer.
Make time for score calling
Use the score-calling resource to prepare for instruction. Note anything you want to rehearse with an experienced trainer, then return to the applicable guidance together.
Prepare for match procedures
Review the pre-match checklist and available procedure lessons. Keep a short list of questions about situations you have not yet practiced.
Build a rules-study routine
Find the rules source that applies to the event and use practice resources to identify topics for further study. Practice results on this site are learning aids and do not confer a credential.
Find training and ask questions
Browse training opportunities and read the format, location, audience, and prerequisites supplied by the trainer. Registered referees can share availability and learning goals privately with the trainer.

Compare the dates, location, stated credential requirements, and support offered. Read each opportunity before applying and confirm that it fits your experience and availability.
